In India, the CDSCO, under the Ministry of Health and Family Welfare, oversees the implementation of pharmacovigilance through the Pharmacovigilance Programme of India (PvPI). This program monitors drug safety, ensures regulatory compliance, and enhances the reporting of ADRs. Collaboration between CIOMS and CDSCO has strengthened India&#8217;s pharmacovigilance system, aligning it with global standards and ensuring that drugs on the market are continuously monitored for safety.
