Blood is a critical body fluid composed of plasma, red blood cells, white blood cells, and platelets. It functions in transporting oxygen and nutrients, removing waste, and protecting against infections. Hemopoiesis is the process of blood cell formation, occurring primarily in the bone marrow. Hemoglobin formation involves the synthesis of heme (iron-containing molecule) and globin (protein chains), essential for oxygen transport. Anemia is a condition characterized by a deficiency in red blood cells or hemoglobin, leading to reduced oxygen-carrying capacity and symptoms like fatigue and weakness.

Keywords: Body fluids, Blood, Interstitial fluid, Intracellular fluid, Homeostasis, Plasma, Red blood cells, White blood cells, Platelets

[145

post-6171","post","type-post","status-publish","format-standard","hentry","category-human-anatomy-physiology-i
["GET
