Preface
The study of the human body forms the foundation of every health science discipline. Human Anatomy, Physiology and Pathophysiology-I is a core subject that helps students understand the structure of the body, the functioning of its organs and systems, and the changes that occur in disease. Theoretical knowledge becomes meaningful only when it is supported by practical observation and hands-on experience.
This laboratory manual has been prepared for B.Pharm students in accordance with the new Pharmacy Council of India (PCI) syllabus. It guides students through the practical component of the course in a clear, systematic and easy-to-follow manner. Each experiment is presented with its aim, requirements, principle, procedure, observations and result so that students can perform the work independently and record it accurately.
It is hoped that this manual will strengthen the students’ understanding of the subject, develop their practical skills and encourage a scientific approach to learning. Suggestions and constructive criticism for improving future editions will be most welcome.
