Abstract
The Respiratory System-II delves into the intricate processes governing the regulation of respiration, ensuring the body’s respiratory needs are met through various control mechanisms. It explores lung volumes and capacities, essential for understanding the dynamics of air movement within the lungs. The transport of respiratory gases, crucial for oxygen delivery and carbon dioxide removal, is examined in detail, highlighting the roles of hemoglobin and other factors. Additionally, artificial respiration and resuscitation methods are discussed, emphasizing their importance in life-saving situations where natural breathing is impaired, ensuring the maintenance of vital functions.
